FGV Projetos took part in the unfolding of the Strategy for the judiciary within the Justice sectors, establishing eight strategic themes and 46 national indicators. Through FGV’s consultancy provided to the National Justice Council, tribunals and regional and high courts around the country developed their respective strategic plans. The goal has been to secure alignment at all levels of the Judiciary in order to fulfill the National Judiciary’s Vision for 2014.

The National Fund for the Development of Education (FNDE), in charge of fundraising and financing educational and research projects throughout Brazil, commissioned FGV Projetos to identify and eliminate their management deficiencies through a large-scale institution-strengthening project. The work comprised training in the area of HR, document management, modernizing of the supply and assets area and of information technology, as well as the creation of an ombudsman’s office, providing greater efficiency, transparency and flexibility to the Fund.

Commissioned by the Ministry of Development, Industry and Trade, FGV Projetos was responsible for developing the conceptual and practical aspects of the Brazilian market for carbon emissions reductions. With a specialized team, FGV Projetos is currently working on developing a training and dissemination program to secure the widespread use of the conceptual framework across Latin America, through talks, consultancies and seminars. FGV Projetos is determined to reach businesses with potential for initiating projects, financial institutions and all those interested in the subject, to contribute thus to sustainable development.

In the area of Human Resources, FGV Projetos can boast an extensive experience both in the corporate and public sectors. The Career Development and Compensations Plan for the City Administration of Santos/ Sao Paulo, one of the largest Brazilian cities, has been a great success story in this area. The work was carried out intensively in the course of five months, taking into account the local realities and culture, and addressing such aspects as the rationalization of positions as well as analyzing the pay scale and outlining new forms for personal advancement. The project, thus, helped the City Administration and staff members to guide their progress, securing gains for everyone.
