FGV Projetos is also prominent in the area of culture, encouraging research and diffusion in the field of arts and culture. Conceived by the director of FGV Projetos, Cesar Cunha Campos and coordinated by Silvia Finguerut, with the editorial direction of Paulo Herkenhoff and the support of the CPDOC team, the book Móvel Brasileiro Moderno provides an overview of the recent history of furniture design in Brazil, from the 1920s to the 1960s.

The book contains images of real masterpieces translated into furniture, conceived by artists and designers like Gregori Warchavchik, Lucio Costa, Oscar Niemeyer, and Abraham Palatnik, among others. Among the pieces selected, some have been photographed for the first time. The launch of the book was on 2012.
