This study analyzes the competitiveness of the Brazilian states by productivity sector and microregions, revealing a country with many investment opportunities and peculiarities arising from its diversity. The methodology utilized by the multidisciplinary group at FGV Projetos concerns the analysis of 14 areas that directly influence the country´s development, such as education, health, infrastructure, innovation, markets, agriculture and natural resources. The results obtained evaluate 224 indicators, incorporated into a competitiveness map of 558 microregions in Brazil.
