    In this and the next few years Rio de Janeiro will be hosting a series of international events. Brazilian tourism is predicted to create two million formal and informal jobs by 2014, with a 55% increase from BRL 6.3 to BRL 8.9 billion in incoming international currency during the same period. These are some of the projections in the Benchmarking Document on Tourism in Brazil 2011/2014, published by FGV Projetos.
